Pierre Du Mont from the Piedmont Post included our 2024 Zinfandel in his “2026 California’s Best Zinfandels.” Just a year earlier, our first vintage, the 2023 Old Vine Zinfandel was ranked amongst his 18 “Best zinfandels of 2025.”

Terra Amata’s 2024 Zin-sé won Best of Class in the San Francisco Chronicle 2026 Wine Competition for a dry rosé with zero residual sugar.

This rosé, co-fermented with Sauvignon Blanc, was an experiment for Terra Amata’s winemaker, Kelly Ramsey. Its popularity (especially amongst Kelly’s family) led him to make the 2025 Zin-sé, as well as the 2025 Zin-ye, co-fermented with Viognier.

The California State Fair awarded our 2023 Old Vine Zinfandel a Gold Medal and 95 points.
